Our startup programs are a key tool for supporting innovation within our ecosystem. The Growth Alliance, a joint initiative with the Landwirtschaftliche Rentenbank on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture, is our longest-running program and is dedicated to a sustainable agricultural and food industry.
In your role as Junior Innovation & Marketing Manager, you will primarily oversee the Growth Alliance and ensure that the programs are as effective as possible for startups and partners through clear project structures and event management skills.

What you will drive forward with us
- You contribute to the planning, execution, and follow-up of our startup programs and events.
- During the execution of these programs, you ensure everything runs smoothly by managing communication with participants, mentors, and external partners, and overseeing on-site event organization.
- You proactively contribute your own ideas to further develop and continuously improve our innovation programs.
- You conduct market and trend analyses and assist in selecting suitable startups for the programs.
- You create marketing materials to promote the startup programs and market the AgriFood ecosystem. To this end, you will be in regular contact with AgriFood initiatives across Germany.
What you bring to the table
- You have a suitable degree and/or relevant professional experience that provides you with the technical foundation needed for the role. For this position, we particularly value initial practical experience in project and event management.
- You excel at organizing and planning, as well as networking with partners, mentors, and startups.
- You demonstrate a strong willingness to learn, a hands-on mentality, and a solution-oriented approach.
- You impress with a reliable, structured, and independent work style and maintain a clear overview even when dealing with complex tasks.
- You have a very high level of proficiency in German (at least C1) and also have a very good level of English.
- You are interested in new ideas, trends, and innovations, particularly in the agriculture and food industry.
- You are willing to travel occasionally.
Not required, but definitely helpful
- You have experience working in a startup or coworking environment and are familiar with the dynamics of agile work cultures.
- You have experience in the agricultural and/or food industry, for example through your studies or professional experience.
